Nashville Family Hotels – Tips and Recommendations
- The Nashville International Airport is located approximately 9 miles from the city center. It’s very convenient to get downtown after arriving by plane so you can choose a hotel that is close to the neighborhood where you will spend the majority of your time. However, for early morning flights, we have selected a few hotels closer to the airport for convenient arrivals and departures.
- The Cumberland River is the major waterway which runs through the city and the majority of Nashville is located south of the river. You can cross by car or via a pedestrian bridge and there are also bike trails as well. Many hotels may feature views of the Nashville skyline or the river.
- Those seeking a little more solitude should stay closer to interstate 440 to the west of the city and close to Vanderbilt University and Centennial Park. The park features a replica of the Parthenon and an art museum. This location is ideal for those who want to explore the city and retreat into quiet at the end of a long day.
- We recommend booking your holidays through Booking.com. It’s one of the trusted hotel booking sites out there, and the one with the best deals. Note: we do earn a small commission when you book through them. We display prices usually for a family with two adults and one child, to make pricing more realistic. The actual price you pay might be higher or lower of course based on your family size.
