Los Angeles Family Hotels – Tips and Recommendations

  • Los Angeles is a sprawling city, and there are many nearby neighborhoods with their own names and zip codes which can make staying here confusing. In the center of LA is Beverly Hills while Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena are just east of the city. San Fernando is to the north, and Santa Monica is west, along the beach.
  • Two popular LA destinations for families are Disneyland Park and Universal Studios Hollywood. Universal Studios is located just north in Central Los Angeles while Disneyland Park is just south in Anaheim, California. Choose a hotel close to whichever attraction you’ll be visiting so you can spend more time in the park and enjoy everything on offer.
  • Booking.com usually has the best hotel deals: Downtown Los Angeles, West Los Angeles, South Los Angeles, and Northeast Los Angeles. It’s one of the trusted hotel booking sites out there, and the one with the best deals. Note: we do earn a small commission when you book through them. We display prices usually for a family with two adults and one child, to make pricing more realistic. The actual price you pay might be higher or lower of course based on your family size.
