Sitges - Fiesta Mayor

Sitges Fiesta Mayor is the essential party of the year, which honors the city patron saint. The most recognizable part of the event is a stunning firework show that you can see from all parts of the Mediterranean region. It happens on the first night of the party.

This festival dedicated to Sant Bartolomeu features music, street dance, and parade, local specialties floats and much more. Friday is the firework day, and the next day of the Sitges Fiesta Mayor starts with Sant Bartomeu’s Procession in the early evening.

As the evening goes on, the Beasts of fire and giants with traditional dance take place and entertain the local people and tourists.
