Event Details

Patriot’s Day in Boston is an annual event that honors the first battles of the American Revolutionary War. The celebration includes many interesting events such as the parade, Liberty ride, Lantern lighting and is a great way to learn more about American history, and have fun.

The day starts with the traditional act of rising the USA Flag, and central highlights are the parade and the battle reenactments.

The well-programmed reenactments take place at Lexington and Concord and Minute Man National Historical Park. Additionally, the Concord Museum offers a rich program in historical galleries, workshops, dance, art and music activities free of charge.

Moreover, if your children aren’t tired, you can take a late-night march to the Museum’s Patriots’ Ball and have a fun evening with music performances and dance trips.

As for the sports events, the Boston Marathon takes place each year on Patriot’s Day in Boston and Boston Red Socks have a traditional game.
