South Padre Island Sandcastle Days

The Sandcastle Days is a family beach festival that promotes sculptures in the sand in a beautiful landscape – South Padre Island shores. Kids will love the event, and you can even attend free workshops to improve your sand sculpturing skills!

The event that started as a way to save the beautiful South Padre Island coastal shores, grew in a magnificent event attracting more than 30 thousand visitors each year.

The Sandcastle Days offers a unique opportunity to build your castle with local professionals who will help you build your dream castle. Each year the event takes place at the beginning of October and lasts for several days.

The festival also includes live music and kids games, as well as various vendors!
