Rijeka Carnival in Croatia is a month-long celebration of the catholic carnival right before the start of fasting.

If you are in the area in February or March, dates vary every year, a visit to the carnival is a must-do. The Rijeka Carnival in Croatia is one of the biggest carnivals in Europe. You’ll experience a unique atmosphere with a bit of Venetian and Austrian influence.
