International Comic Strip Festival, Angoulême

The International Comic Strip Festival in Angoulême, France, is a dream for every comic lover. The festival has been held here since 1974. This festival is the second-largest in Europe and the third in the world. No wonder it attracts over 200.000 visitors every year.

The festival is not held in one specific place. Be prepared to move around the city to have the best experience. Make sure you get a program of the festival, so you can pick your favorite activities, there are a lot of them. During the four-day festival, you can see comic writers at work, or you can participate in a drawing contest, you might even get discovered.
