Event Details

Aloha Festivals celebrates Hawaiian music, dance, food, and identity in a month-long program of exciting events happening in various locations on Oʻahu. The magnificent Floral Parade represents all islands and has a live stream on CBS channel, attracting millions on viewers. The parade takes place on September 26th, a few days after the festival begins.

Why watch it on TV, when you can attend it? Every year, Aloha Festivals feature the theme, for example, a theme for last year was Nā Mo‘olelo ʻUkulele, which means ‘Ukulele Stories”.

The continuous performances of kids and high-schools students are happening across the city and are all free-of-charge. You can attend workshops, watch demonstrations, music shows, taste amazing food and dance with the traditional Hawaiian sound.

The largest street party is the Hoʻolauleʻa, so don’t miss the chance to mingle with locals and visitors on the streets.
