Lesvos Food Fest

Lesvos Food Fest is an annual festival on the historical island of Lesbos in Greece. This event is meant to share and promote the gastronomy and characteristics of the island.

Every day of the event there are several gastronomical activities all around the island. This is the place to taste local olives and fine olive oil, or one of the other foods characteristic to Lesbos, Anise, and sardines. And don’t forget to taste the traditional alcoholic beverage Ouzo, combined with some tasty Meze or salty Feta cheese.

According to the organization of the festival, Lesbos is the place where west and east meet, which you can see in their gastronomy as well. With this event, they want to promote and showcase traditional produce, and cuisine. Also, they want to educate people on the meals and traditions of this historical island.
