The St. Michaels Fair (Michaelis-Kirchweih) is the largest religious festival in Bavaria with a charming parish fair and vivid market on the streets of Fürth.

People wear traditional costumes and gather to try sweets, traditional Bavarian food, or buy crockery, braces, and other souvenirs.

The charming fair includes carnival rides and harvest festival procession and makes a great choice for family events.
More than 2 million people visit the oldest festival in Bavaria, which takes place for more than 956 years.

The St. Michaels Fair (Michaelis-Kirchweih) lasts for ten days and is considered “intangible cultural heritage“ of Bavaria.
